Artichoke & Spinach Warm Dip Mix

Love it! I use it to stuff baby portobello mushrooms and on pizza crust instead of marinara sauce.

    Tasty

Smooth, creamy and warm. What’s not to like. I served with soft pretzel bread chunks.

Flavor was good but when prepared as the box says the texture is terrible

I made this twice but two different ways. The first time I prepared it exactly as the box says to, and it was extremely greasy which ruined the texture. The only thing that made it was ok was that the flavor was really good. The second time I made it I did the mix with one brick of cream cheese and in place of the Swiss cheese I mixed in half a cup of Italian blend cheese. I also did not add the extra cheese on top. By doing the cheese differently, and only heating the portions as I was ready to eat them, this seemed to keep it from getting so greasy. I also found that when the dip is prepared this way, if you don’t heat it first it works amazing for jalapeño poppers and gives them amazing flavor.

No flavor! Swiss cheese makes it so greasy, almost inedible.

2 blocks of cream cheese, a pound of swiss cheese & the cost of dip mix... WASTED!!!
