    Nana’s Apple Cake can’t miss

First time trying it. So much fun! I added a little vanilla and a spoon of applesauce. Like others, I was super worried about the batter coming together so I added a scant tablespoon of apple sauce and it came together perfectly. HOWEVER, as my husband noted, who is the real baker in the family, the batter really made the chopped apples give off a lot of moisture almost immediately and waiting a couple minutes after an initial stirring might help the issue completely with no added liquids. Used pecans instead of walnuts, just as tasty. Cut the apples up chunky and they were perfectly tender. Two thumbs up. Buying more.

    Nana’s Apple Cake

You use 2 eggs and diced up apples. I use about a cup of chunky apple sauce and a couple of diced apples to it. Makes it very moist and creamy batter. Delicious

    Nana's cake mix

This was way too dry, it could hardly be stirred to mix it. Only 2 eggs for liquid, was there supposed to be more liquid?

    Nana's Apple Cake

I bought a box of this at arts and crafts festival from rep Trevor Thaine whom I enjoyed meeting very much. Oh my gosh tha is the BEST Apple Cake I’ve ever made or had for that matter. The top is crisp and I added a little walnuts on top , the I side is moist and has apple bites throughout The flavor smells like the holidays rolling in with the wonderful scent of apples and cinnamon. Heavenly

    Liquid required

I saw a review saying that the cake was way too dry. The instructions on the box don't mention water at all. Even with apples and two eggs, the resulting batter is very crumbly.

This is always awesome. It is known as THE CAKE when I bake for special friends. No one knows the secret but can't get enough of it. Drizzle with caramel sauce or toss in some caramel chunks or butterscotch chips. SO YUMMY

This cake is moist and delicious. It is not too sweet. My husband and daughter both loved it so much, I ordered two more boxes.
