How to Make Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™

Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™ Recipe

1 package Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™
¾ cup water
¾ cup butter, melted & cooled
1 large egg, beaten

1. Preheat oven to 325˚F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well. Do not over mix; batter will be lumpy.

2. Spread batter in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

3. Cool completely. Remove from pan and slice.

Makes about 10 servings.

High Altitude: Increase water by 2 tablespoons and add ⅓ cup flour. Bake at 325˚F for 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Do not eat raw batter.

For cupcakes, bake in greased muffin pan at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Makes 12 cupcakes.

Cut cake into cubes and layer with whipped cream and fresh berries for a beautiful trifle.

    So Delicious and easy!

    I've made this almond pound cake a few times for events now. Every time I do I get TONS of compliments and people asking for the recipe. It literally takes like 3 minutes total to prep. This summer I've turned it into strawberry shortcake and it's been amazing like that. Highly recommend!

    I tried to make it in a square pan and it was not cooked with the time they said. I added a few more minutes and still a bit raw. I will keep with the loaf pan but it is a good tasting cake
